Info: Ein Bild von einem Nashorn ist toll, doch noch besser wird es, wenn man die rauhe Haut des Tieres nicht nur sehen, sondern auch noch fühlen kann. Darum hat sich Canon mit dem neuen Verfahren "elevated printing" gekümmert. Dabei wird die dargestellte Oberfläche auch erfühlbar, also auch die Nashornhaut des Fotos. Anders als früher wird dabei das Papier nicht geknickt, sondern wie beim 3D-Druck einfach Schicht auf Schicht gelegt, bis das Ergebnis passt. Bis zu 4 mm hoch kann gedruckt werden. Im Alltag wird das Verfahren wahrscheinlich auf edlen Verpackungen auftauchen. Die Antworten sind auf englisch.
