Info: In den 25 Jahren ihres Engagements für nachhaltige Kleidung hat Safia Minney die NGO Global Village gegründet und ihr Modelabel People Tree. Es war das erste, dass von der World Fair Trade Organization für Nachhaltigkeit von der Pflanze bis zum Hemd ausgezeichnet wurde. Im O-Ton-Paket spricht sie über ihre Erfahrungen und wie sich der Verkauf von nachhaltiger Kleidung wächst. Die Antworten sind auf englisch.

1. How accepted is sustainability in the world of fashion today, in your view?
2. Over here in Germany, Rana Plaza is still a big topic at times. Did the catastrophe have a alsting effect?
3. Over here in Europe, you have these reports of workers, that are "imported" into Romania an other European countries for cheap labor. What is missing?
4. My personal view is, that sustainability was bigger at the beginning of the 1990s than it is now, it kind of disappeared in the meanwhile. What impression do you have?
5. The young generation is much more open to sustainability, is a much heard statement. Does it hold up to reality?
6. A few months ago, I read, that a lot of factories state, that countries like Bangladesh are becoming less wanted because of the little regulation and slightly higher wages. The firms move to African countries instead. Is that a real threat?
